WORKSHOPS
We are excited to offer workshops and consultations designed to nurture creativity, encourage personal growth, and facilitate learning. Many of these workshops were initially developed for college-level instruction. We understand that college may not be accessible to everyone, so we are committed to providing these high-quality interactive, inclusive, and accessible materials at a more affordable cost, ensuring that they are accessible to a broader audience. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from these valuable resources.
Storytelling I: Writing a Hero's Journey
This workshop will take participants on an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary journey to analyze the concept of the monomyth. It will draw upon texts that explore the Hero’s Journey template and reflect on the ethical implications of storytelling, particularly of cultures not of one’s origin. Participants will leave the workshop with a rough draft of their own hero's journey outline for future writing projects or personal reflection.
